General Ways to Partner with MSU Mobility

  • Test and validate your innovation in our real-world environment (closed and open environments)
  • Sponsor or collaborate on a research project
  • Support an experiential learning project/team
  • Participate in a technology transfer by investing in an MSU professor’s startup or purchasing licensing rights to MSU’s intellectual property
  • Co-host a mobility event

We offer external research collaborators the advantage of a streamlined, one-stop shop process for getting mobility technologies tested and deployed on campus. Prospective collaborators simply work through the MSU Mobility office, which is dedicated to fostering connections and collaborations.

Going Beyond Research to Positively Impact Society

Research is the backbone of our mobility program, but it doesn’t stop there. MSU Mobility has successfully partnered with companies to not only research and publish findings that benefit society but pave the way to commercialization, including licensing technologies.

With East Lansing as the backdrop to campus, it makes an ideal place for starter companies to put down roots, grow and hire top talent from the university.
